Tammy is passionate about leading by example and being a source of inspiration for other women.  Her desire is to be a positive role model, in all aspects of her life, as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, business owner and advocate for human sex trafficking.  Her decision to run for Mrs. Nebraska encompassed all these things, including bringing more awareness to human sex trafficking, which was her platform.  She has envisioned teaching young women and men prevention strategies and helping to equip community members with the skills to recognize and respond to trafficking situations.

     She is married, to Chad, and emergency room physician, and has 3 lovely children, including a set of twins.  Her career started in the medical field as a certified surgical technologist, followed by becoming an instructor for the program at NEO College in Miami, Oklahoma. She is the owner of Envy Tans by Tammy. She is a professional bodybuilder, and has been featured on the cover of Naturalmag 2021 Fall Edition, and was recognized in Omaha Magazine Spring 2022 edition for her achievements in the health and industry field.

     Her hobbies include, organizing, baking, traveling, pickle ball, puzzles, trying new things, spending time with friends, and family date nights.  She will never turn down a piece of cheesecake, and her favorite quote is, lift others up, there is room for all of us at the finish line.
